hey everybody, chimney 5 has finally arrived here on bandcamp! my take on the ultimate summer remix album, and the fifth in my "chimney" series. i poured a lot into this one, as did many wonderful people around me and of course the many great artists who's work i've drawn from (both literally and figuratively) for this project, i wanted that warm, loud, distorted, cruising along the california highway during a warm breezy summer afternoon (with just a dash of christmas in july here and there when the wintery beats come in) feeling. this album is supposed to sound like the songs your friend made when they went on a road trip and came back to show you. some are rinky dinky little ditties and others are overdistorted soundspam but most are just sample-heavy, hard hitting bops that will break your heart, your speakers and your eardrums.
